Secondary school pupils from Form Three to Form Five will be the first in the city to return to classes on May 27,
following the completion of university entrance exams, CE announced and said, adding that younger secondary students, along
with pupils from Primary Four to Six, would resume classes on June 8.

Pupils in Primary 1 to Primary 3 and third year of kindergarten will return on June 15, while those in the first year of
kindergarten will not return this academic year.

International schools may choose to resume normal service from May 20.

Schools have been closed since January because of the contagion. When they do return, pupils will have to stay about a metre apart

from each other, and will only attend classes for half a day.

The news came as the city recorded no new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, according to the CE, marking the 10th time in the past 16 days
that there have been no new cases. Over that period, there have been no locally transmitted infections.
